Better Metadata enhances Stremio metadata by combining data from multiple trusted sources, delivering richer and more complete details for movies, TV series, and anime.

Easy to use: no API keys, accounts, or complex setup required. Just install the addon, optionally choose your preferred language and card layout, and enjoy enhanced metadata.

Configuration & Documentation

Metadata languages

You can customize your preferred metadata language when installing the addon.

Supported languages:

• English (default)
• Spanish
• Portuguese
• French
• German
• Arabic
• Turkish
• Hindi

If no language is selected, English will be used.

If a synopsis is not available in the selected language, the original language version or an English translation may be displayed instead.

Metadata cards

You can customize which metadata cards are displayed by enabling or disabling individual cards and dragging them to change their order.

Available cards:

• 📖 Synopsis
• ⏱️ Runtime
• ⭐ Rating
• 🏆 Awards
• 🎭 Main Cast
• 🎬 Director
• ✍️ Writer
• 📅 Release Date

If you don't customize the cards, all cards will be displayed in the default order.

You can change these settings at any time by reopening the configuration page and reinstalling the addon.
