Stremio Trakt Bridge is a self-hosted backup and synchronization addon designed to protect and manage your Stremio library, watched history, playback progress, and episode status.
The addon continuously creates an asynchronous backup of your Stremio account through background workers, allowing the web interface to remain fast even with large libraries. Changes made in Stremio are automatically detected and stored in the database, while supported actions performed from the management panel are queued and synchronized back to Stremio.
Main features include persistent library backups, watched and unwatched episode tracking, playback progress management, removed-title history, full-series episode catalogs, multilingual configuration, and controlled restoration of backed-up content.
After installation, use the Configure option in Stremio to connect your account, review synchronization settings, manage your library, and monitor the date and status of the latest confirmed backup.
For best results, keep the addon installed and ensure the background synchronization worker is running continuously.
