Trakt Sync & Rate Addon

A Stremio addon for synchronizing watched states, rating content, and managing your Trakt watchlist.

Security & Privacy

• All user configuration and Trakt tokens are stored in the addon URL as an encoded string
• The addon server does not store or keep any user data, tokens, or personal information
• No databases are maintained; all operations are performed in real-time
• You are responsible for keeping your addon URL secure

Installation

1. Open the Configuration Page:

   • Visit the addon's configuration page: https://trakt-sync-rating.onrender.com/configure

2. Configure Trakt Integration:

   • Get your Trakt Client ID from trakt.tv/oauth/applications
   • Enter it in the configuration page
   • Click "Connect to Trakt" and authorize the application

3. (Optional) Set Up Upstash:

   • For persistent token storage, create a free Redis database at upstash.com
   • Copy your REST URL and token
   • Enter them in the Upstash configuration section

4. Customize Your Addon:

   • Choose which features to enable (watched, ratings, watchlist)
   • Select rating styles and display patterns
   • Configure Trakt stats display preferences

5. Install in Stremio:

   • Click "Generate Addon URL"
   • Copy the generated URL
   • In Stremio, go to Addons → paste the URL

Usage

After installation, the addon will appear in your Stremio streaming options for movies and series. You can:

• Mark content as watched/unwatched
• Rate movies and episodes
• Add/remove items from your Trakt watchlist
• View Trakt statistics for each title

Configuration Options

• Rating Values: Select which rating values (1-10) appear in Stremio
• Visual Style: Choose between Stars, Hearts, or Progress bars
• Display Pattern: Simple, Emoji-First, or Cinematic format
• Stats Selection: Pick which Trakt statistics to display
• Auto-Watch: Automatically mark as watched when rating
• Duplicate Cleanup: Remove old watched entries to keep Trakt history clean
